Community renewable rehab
We've just finished this solid little 20kwh solar system for residents of Jilkminggan community at Elsey Station, on the banks of the NT's mighty Roper River. The system will power the community's new drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre from 10kw of solar (doubling as a shade roof), the actual world's best inverter - the 7.5kw Selectronics SP Pro made here in Australia - and store the energy in 20 kWh of new-fangled, long-life, high-temperature capable Power Plus lithium iron phosphate batteries.
Allowing families to reconnect and heal on country in a fully-equipped community centre.
Great to work with the Jilkminggan community and JCAC, we wish you the best with the community centre going forward!
